The Fourth ‘Pungnyu Dalbit Performance’

The Fourth ‘Pungnyu Dalbit Performance’(Pungnyu means enjoying art and culture, Dalbit means moonlight) will hold at upcoming Saturday on August 12th in the place of front yard of Korea Gasa Literary House around 8 pm.

The line-up for the performance is composed of Mr. Lee Bong-geun who is a vocalist as a member of EnsembleSinawe Band and also Ms. Lee Yun-A who is a vocalist to sing Pansori(Traditional Korean style of narrative song) and became famous through public broadcasting called ‘Mnet <Your voice can be seen-season2> with her talent. Beside, GukakEnsemble-‘TaM’ will show collaborated-performance with Ms. Lee Yun-A. ‘TaM’ is a group who shows performance with the base of tradition with modern edge.

The performance content is

<Memory>; The vocal performance with the motif of Imbangul master’s unit song ‘Memory’ after being expressed by modern edge.

<Jeokbyeok>; Being recomposed as a part of Battle of Red Cliffs

<Saranga>; Pansori, a part of <Chunhyangga> being recomposed as Sinawi style

<Sugungga>; a part of song from Byeoljubujeon story

<Moonlight Garden>; Being expressed the artistic value with the material ‘Moonlight’

<You and I>; Means Be together/ this is well-known as folk song in Jeju Island

<A Feast of Folk Song>; Being composed with a variety of style of Arirang from each of province’s representative work.

The performance fee is Free.

This event opens to everybody who wants to enjoy traditional music under the moonlight in dark sky.

This performance will also be broadcasted at September 3th(Sun.) and 10th(Sun.) at 8:40 in the morning. Therefore, if you missed this event, you can see through online media.
