창작관현악곡 국외 연주단체 공모 (안) |
1980년대 민중의 뜨거운 삶과 시대정신이 담긴 ‘님을 위한 행진곡’은 5월 추모곡이자 민주주의 탄압에 저항하는 국민의 마음을 하나로 응집시키는 대한민국 민주화운동의 상징곡으로 자리매김 하였습니다.
광주광역시와 (재)광주문화재단에서는 이러한 광주의 숭고한 가치가 문화예술콘텐츠로 승화될 수 있도록 ‘님을 위한 행진곡’을 기반으로 하는 창작관현악곡 작품을 제작하였고, 창작 작품의 활성화와 민주주의 상징 문화콘텐츠의 확산을 위하여 다음과 같이 해외 연주단체를 공모합니다.

The song “Marching for our Beloved” reflects the spirit of the people
of Korea during the 1980s. It is a memorial song slated for May each year; it is
a symbol of the democratization movement of the freedom-loving people of the
Republic of Korea.
Gwangju Metropolitan City and the Gwangju Cultural Foundation have commissioned orchestral works based on the song “Marching for our Beloved.” It will be incorporated into Korean cultural and artistic genre. To help promote and spread the word to people living beyond the borders of Korea, we are calling for orchestras to schedule performances between October 20, 2021 and December 10, 2021.
