■ “Digital Practice_기술을 다루는 기술”은 6월 27일부터 한 달간 바림에서 이루어지는 미디어 아트 레지던시이며, 한 달 동안 관객을 대상으로한 다양한 관련 프로그램을 운영중입니다. #기술을다루는기술
■ 관련 프로그램-1 “IFTTT 워크샵” : 페이스북, 트위터, 포스퀘어, 드랍박스, 에버노트, 구글 드라이브, 사운드 클라우드 등 다양한 웹 서비스를 원하는대로 조합할 수 있는 IFTTT(자동화 서비스)를 활용하여 나만의 레시피를 만들어 봅니다. 참여신청은 전화나 이메일로 가능합니다. 참가비 무료.
일시: 6/25 오후 4시, 7/2 오후 4시, 7/9 오후 4시, 7/16 오후 1시 (매주 토요일 / 총 4회)
■ 관련 프로그램-2 “네 개의 주제” : 다양한 미디어 아트의 주제를 격식없이 소파에 둘러앉아 이야기합니다. 옥상에서 맥주를 마시며 이야기하기도 하고, 라운지에서 격식없이 영화를 보기도 합니다. 질문과 참여가 자유롭고 달리 신청하실 필요는 없습니다. 그냥 들러주세요. 자세한 주제는 날짜가 다가오기 전에 홈페이지와 페이스북에 살짝 게재합니다.
일시: 7/5(화) 오후 5시-7시, 7/14(목) 오후 5시-7시, 7/16(토) 오후 4시-7시 (총 3회). (내용에 따라 더 길어질 수도 있습니다. 맥주와 간단한 다과가 있습니다)
■ 본 프로그램 : 레지던시의 결과를 발표하는 전시가 7월 23일 (토) 19시에 바림에서 오픈합니다. 전시에 대한 자세한 이야기는 곧 올리겠습니다.
■ 간단한 참여작가 소개
// #김현석 작가는 변형및 조합이 무한대로 가능한 디지털 이미지의 완벽성과 환영성을 주제로 작업을 하고 있으며, 이러한 이미지에 대한 접근을 ‘위키엔진’을 이용하여 데이터베이스로 구축하고자 한다.
// #전유진 작가는 소리/사운드, 설치, 퍼포먼스 등 다양한 분야에서 작업을 진행해 왔으며, 미디어 아트의 젠더성을 주제로 작품을 제작하고자 한다. (http://sowrint.net/)
// #최하람 작가는 락/포크 등의 장르의 밴드에서 드러머로 활동중이고, 이를 토대로 사운드 작업에도 영역을 넓히려 하고 있으며, 피드백 사운드(하울링)의 서로 다른 주파수를 이용한 작품을 제작하고자 한다.
// #함준서 작가는 CG오브제적인 생명체와 그것의 움직임을 담은 애니메이션을 제작해왔으며, 프로그래밍을 이용하여 이를 소프트 로봇과 같은 형태로 만드는 작업을 제작하고자 한다. (http://junseohahm.tumblr.com/)
■ 간단한 기획자 소개
// 바림과 이 기획을 함께 하는 공동기획자이자 테크니컬 퍼실리테이터인 #이동훈 은 사운드 비주얼, 피지컬 컴퓨팅, 프리랜서. 컴퓨터공학, 시각디자인정보 등을 공부한 뒤 creative technologist로서 미디어 아트 분야에서 활동하고 있으며 현재 계원예술대학교에서 학생들을 가르치고 있다.

■ “Digital Practice" is a media-art focused residency held from June 27 for a month, and offers various programs for the audience #DigitalPractice
■ Program-1 “IFTTT workshop” : Creating own recipes to combine different web services such as Facebook, twitter, foursquare, dropbox, Evernote, google drive, Soundcloud and etc.
Date: 6/25 4pm, 7/2 4pm, 7/9 4pm, 7/16 1pm (all Saturday)
■ Program-2 “Four Topics" : Sit around sofa and talk about different topics about media art. Drinking beer on the rooftop or sit around at the lounge to watch a film. Free to ask questions and participate. No need to register. The details of the topic will be announced on our website and Facebook later.
Date: 7/5(tue) 5-7pm, 7/14(thu) 5-7pm, 7/16(sat) 4-7pm (Can be longer. Beer and snacks. Intermittently translated in English if needed)

// #김현석 Hyunsuk Kim works on the perfection and phantasm of digital media which can be unlimitedly transformable and combinable. Will work on the Wiki-engine database to approach to these images.

// #최하람 Haram Chois is a drummer in rock/fork bands and tries to expand his field to sound art. Will work on howling, using different frequency.

■ Curators
// With Barim, #이동훈 Donghoon Yi is a co-curator and technical facilitator of this project. He is a creative technologist who is specialized in sound visual and physical computing. Studied computer engineering and visual design information and currently teaching at Kaywon Univ.
