2017 Vocal Music Competition of Gwangju

Vocal Music Competition of Gwangju is becoming the gateway to be a best vocalist for young people.

Gwangju Cultural Foundation has organized this event since 2012 in order to spread an artistic spirit of Jeong Yul-seong and his music and also discover talented young vocalist in the country.

Since 2014, the benefit of prize is mounted up to 37 million won, it represents that this event is becoming a representative culture brand of Korea. Moreover, the participation of student who are studying abroad is increased steadily. Not only from domestic area but also from overseas, many of young vocalist wish to be here to perform.

The prize will be awarded to 8 vocalist from top.

To vocalist who will award first prize, the opportunity to do accompanied performance in Jeong Yul-seong Musical Festival will be given.

First Preliminaries(Woman) : 8.12(Sat)

Second Preliminaries : 8.19(Sat)

The Final : 8.26(Sat) 14:00~ ‘Performance Competition’ Opens to the Public!
